This Memorial Day was one we’ll never forget.
We are beyond honored to share that Frontline to Field was awarded the prestigious Cleveland Guardians Military Grant, a powerful recognition presented annually to Northeast Ohio nonprofits making an impact in the lives of veterans, service members, and their families.
The award was presented at Progressive Field during the Guardians' Memorial Day game, a fitting and deeply moving tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country. The moment was made even more special for us as our President, Jason Stanford, returned to the very field where he once pitched as a starting pitcher for the Cleveland Indians.

To have Jason walk back onto his home field—not as a player this time, but as a champion for those who’ve served—was incredibly emotional and symbolic. This full-circle moment highlights the heart behind our mission: bridging the gap from the frontlines to new purpose in the field of life.
The Guardians Military Grant is more than just funding—it’s a vote of confidence in the work we do and the lives we touch. Being selected among so many worthy organizations in Northeast Ohio is humbling, and receiving the award on such a patriotic day reminds us why we do what we do.
We’re grateful to the Cleveland Guardians organization, the Military Grant Committee, and everyone who continues to support our mission. With this support, we’ll be able to expand our programs, reach more veterans, and continue honoring service with purpose, dignity, and community. From the frontlines to the field—and now, back to the field—it’s a journey that comes full circle, and we’re just getting started.
